Natural dyes and botanical print making from plants

Welcome to my journey into the world of natural dyes, where plants from my Dye Garden, provide a world of colour and where Botanical prints from plants are used creatively on fabric and paper.

My name is Edwina Hughes a Textile designer and Dyer. My business, Colour Naturally has been developed as a sustainable and environmentally friendly practice where natural dyes and botanical prints are used on textiles and paper. I grow many different plants in the Dye Garden at Lofts Farm in Essex, including woad and madder, also weld which has grown around the farm for decades.
